Book an Appointment
WELCOME!
Thank you so much for your interest in getting a tattoo from me. I look forward to reading about your idea(s) and will get back to you as soon as possible. Before we begin, please read all of the following information carefully. Please bookmark this page to have on hand to refer back to.
I am now working at a private studio, and will text you the day before your appointment with the location. My studio hours for appointment are Tuesday - Friday beginning at 11:00 AM. I work in full day sittings, and only take one client per day.
DESIGN:
I specialize in black and grey realism. Pieces containing large-scale photorealism, portraits of any size, elaborate lettering, flowers, skulls along with larger scale works will be prioritized.
I will ask that you send photos and inspiration for your tattoo along with a description of what you want, so we can discuss them at the start of your appointment. This is a collaborative process, so please allow artistic freedom to make the tattoo work.
I specialize in and ONLY do black and grey realism tattoos and custom lettering. No color tattoos are accepted. I also do not take unfinished work, fix ups, add-ons, rework, touch ups, or cover up work from other artists.
Remember this is an inquiry. I do my very best to accommodate as many people as I can, but should your project be outside of my particular capabilities or spectrum of comfort, I reserve the right to decline. If this is the case, please keep in mind it is nothing to be taken personally, and I will do everything I can to point you in the direction of an artist or studio that will be better suited to your needs. My ultimate goal here is to provide you with the best experience and work possible, and that both you and I are comfortable, confident, and excited about the design.
THE PROCESS:
My creative process is spontaneous; therefore all of my design, layout and artwork is done on the day of the appointment to keep things fresh and inspired. This is how I prefer to work, and I direct my complete focus and creative energy entirely on your creating your piece that day. I do not draw anything prior to your appointment, and do not do in-person consultations.
With that said, I understand that it requires a lot of faith and trust as a client, however, I am extremely thoughtful with every piece I do with the intention of exceeding your original expectations.
If you are familiar with my work or have been tattooed by me, then you know what I mean by this. If you are not familiar with my work, please browse my Instagram @angel.reynosa.
APPOINTMENTS:
Large and intricate pieces will require multiple sessions. I encourage you to book multiple dates back to back.
Keep in mind, if your piece is much larger in size or more complicated due to detail or other reasons please understand it may not get finished in one sitting. There’s no way of telling until we are in it, but I can give you my best expert opinion when quoting your piece during our consultation.
I also ask you to keep in mind that your full day may go longer than the estimated time, so plan your schedule accordingly with some flexibility. A full day includes setting up, drawing time, stenciling, etc., and typically starts at 11:00am, and concludes at 8:00pm.
CONSULTATIONS:
For large scale work I recommend scheduling a consultation if you can before making an appointment. They are quick, free, and that way we can talk face to face (or video conference) and make sure we are both on the same page about your ideas involving size, placement on the body, and details required for your design. Afterwards, I can give you an accurate quote and number of sessions anticipated. We can then move forward with securing the appointment(s) with a deposit. You may book multiple sessions at a time.
RATES, DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT:
Rates are quoted based on the number of sessions you will need. Please keep in mind that larger pieces will require multiple sessions based on the size and intricacy of your tattoo. I recommend that we schedule a consultation to discuss the details. Mini portraits and regular portraits are done in one session, and do not require a consultation prior to the appointment.
A deposit will be required to reserve your appointment. These deposits secure your appointment in my calendar, and are non refundable in order to protect my time incorporating you into my schedule. This deposit goes towards the final cost of your tattoo. If you have multiple sessions booked, then your deposit will be applied to the LAST session completed.
Your deposit should be sent promptly after reserving your appointment. If a deposit is not received within 24 hours, your appointment will be forfeited.
Deposits can be sent via Venmo (@angelreynosa) or Paypal (a.angelreynosa@gmail.com).
Once you have made your deposit, take a screenshot, and email it to: info@angelreynosa.com
Do not send any deposits until we have agreed on an appointment date and time that works for both of us.
A cash payment is due at the end of each session. Be prepared prior to the appointment.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION:
Each client will receive a confirmation email 6-7 days before their scheduled appointment. Your confirmation is needed 72 hours prior to your appointment, or you may lose it and have the time slot given to another client.
Your confirmation email will include a link to our consent form. You must fill out, sign, upload your photo ID, and submit before arriving at your appointment. You will not be tattooed without a consent form on file.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION:
Deposits are NOT refundable for any reason.
Life happens, and we can’t predict the future. Should you need to reschedule, I require a MINIMUM of 72 hours notice prior to our appointment. This way I will honor your deposit and have it applied to our rescheduled date. Deposits are valid for 6 months once paid, so regardless of your reason for rescheduling, it is your responsibility to follow through with an appointment before that time has passed.
You are allowed to reschedule an appointment twice only. Additional reschedules will result in a forfeiture of your deposit. After a deposit is forfeit, you will be required to submit an additional deposit in order to schedule another appointment.
In the event of an attempted cancellation/reschedule within 72 hours, or less, of an appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required in order to reschedule a new appointment.
